It also provides liability insurance products comprising public, products, and employer's liability, as well as workmen's compensation; personal accident, fidelity guarantee, jeweller's block, money, and professional indemnity; motor insurance products, including comprehensive and third-party cover; group and individual medical insurance products; and group family insurance products. The company was formerly known as Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (PLC) - Takaful - ASCANA Insurance and changed its name to Sukoon Takaful PJSC in June 2024. The company was incorporated in 1978 and is headquartered in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Sukoon Takaful PJSC is a subsidiary of Sukoon Insurance PJSC.
