Information We Collect

SouqData collects minimal personal information:

• API users: Email address for API key issuance and usage tracking.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage data (page views, feature usage) to improve the service.
• Cookies: Theme preference (dark/light mode) stored locally.

Public Data

SouqData aggregates and displays publicly available information about companies, directors, and governance sourced from official exchange filings across 10 GCC + MENA stock exchanges (DFM, ADX, ASE, BK, QSE, MSX, BHB, TDWL, BIST, ISX), Yahoo Finance, and company annual reports. This information is already in the public domain and is presented for transparency and analytical purposes.

Data Storage

Data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS eu-central-1, Frankfurt). We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties. API usage logs are retained for 90 days for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Your Rights

Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and applicable GCC data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Third-Party Services

SouqData uses third-party services including Supabase (database), Netlify (hosting), Anthropic Claude (AI analysis), and Yahoo Finance (market data). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data handling practices.
