Mr. El Khatib, a Chief Legal Officer with 20 years of experience in healthcare legal operations, has advised Boards, managed contracts, directed Corporate Governance, and overseen litigation. Known for his energy and knowledge, he has effectively supervised legal departments, ensuring efficient operations while demonstrating a deep understanding of world-class standards, corporate governance, risk management, and business strategy. His achievements include recognition as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in the region by the Legal 500 GC Power List, reflecting his commitment to excellence in legal advisory and Corporate Governance. He has assisted many organisations in navigating complex legal landscapes. As Board Secretary, Mr. El Khatib advises on legal and governance matters, providing independent legal opinions to ensure governance compliance. He advises on conflicts of interest, related party transactions, and non-competition policies, as well as maintaining integrity and transparency. Abdel oversees periodic disclosures and the legal requirements for General Assembly meetings, managing quorum, proceedings, and voting on resolutions.
