Biography

Abdulaziz Saud Al-Mathkoor has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Kuwait Telecommunications Company (stc) in December 2024 after he joined the Company in August 2021 as Director - Performance Management & OD. Prior to joining Kuwait Telecommunications Company stc, Mr. Al-Mathkoor has taken over several positions at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) and Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA). From 2014 until 2021, he worked in Kuwait Finance House Group in both Corporate Strategy and Human Resources sectors. He took part in the creation of KFH Group Strategy Plan for KFH and its subsidiaries including Strategic Initiatives, Key Financial and Non-Financial Targets, Product & Services Development. In addition, Al-Mathkoor worked in HR as Manager of Performance Management, where he was able to adapt and implement best practices and transform the performance culture in KFH. In addition, he was part of the "Integration Management Office" and HR team responsible for planning, budgeting, and implementing KFH acquisition over AUB. Prior to joining KFH, Mr. Al-Mathkoor was a trainee at KIA (Kuwait Investment Authority) for 13 months, during which he worked as intern in State Street London and then went through intensive on job coaching at fixed income department at KIA. Mr. Al-Mathkoor holds a bachelor's degree in finance & financial Institutions from Kuwait University in (2011). He then earned an MBA degree from Kuwait University in (2015).
