Biography

Mr. Abdullah Alqahtani holds the position of Chief Internal Auditor of SAB and serves as Independent Non-Board Audit Committee member for HSBC Saudi Arabia and Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Former positions include Senior Vice President, Assurance Audits of Mobily, Head of Subsidiaries and JV Audits of Saudi Aramco, Head of Fraud Investigations Division of Saudi Aramco, Head of Downstream Audits of Saudi Aramco, and Chief Internal Auditor of Aramco Overseas Company, Netherlands. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, USA, a Master of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and holds certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the IIA. He brings around 20 years of internal audit experience with companies such as Saudi Aramco, Aramco Overseas Company in the Netherlands, and Mobily.
