Ahmed Ali Mohammad Altheeb Al Kaabi has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the public sector. He is the incumbent Executive Director of Finance Department at the RTA, a position he has held since 2015, where he oversees the financial aspects of all the RTA's sectors and agencies and he is responsible for developing financial strategies, legislation and policies to manage and control various financial aspects, including implementing government directives and establishing new companies. Over the course of his career, he has had notable achievements, including winning the Dubai Government Excellence Award in Resources and Property Standard 2017, participating in setting accounting standards for the Dubai Government in 2007, and serving as a mentor in the Model Programme for Developing the Skills of RTA's Young Leaders.
