Biography

Dr. Mohammed Yahya Al-Qahtani is a SABIC Board Member serving as Non-Executive Director. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Downstream at Saudi Aramco; Chairman of Aramco Trading Company (ATC); Chairman of King Salman Energy City Development Company (SPARK); Chairman of Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP); Chairman of Motiva Enterprises LLC; Board Member of S-Oil Corporation; Board Member of Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden); and Board Member of Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA); and Board Member of Dhahran Techno Valley Company. His previous positions include: Executive Vice President of Upstream at Saudi Aramco; Vice President of Corporate Planning at Saudi Aramco; Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Saudi Aramco; Vice President of Petroleum Engineering & Development at Saudi Aramco; Executive Director of Petroleum Engineering & Development at Saudi Aramco; and Chief Petroleum Engineer at Saudi Aramco. His previous board memberships include: Saudi Aramco Jubail Refinery Company (SASREF); Pengerang Petrochemical Company Sdn. Bhd.; Pengerang Refining Company Sdn. Bhd.; and Saudi Aramco Upstream Technology Company (SAUTC).
