Biography

Dr. Sami Abdulkarim Al-Abdulkarim is a dental professional with extensive experience in dental medicine, business administration, and healthcare sector leadership. He previously served as Deputy Administrative Manager at United Medical Services Company and Deputy Administrative Manager at Mouwasat Medical Services Company, progressing to Deputy Executive Manager. He was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Mouwasat Medical Services Company. He holds multiple leadership positions including Chairman of the Medical Committee at the Chamber of Commerce in Riyadh, Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in Riyadh, and Chairman of the National Health Committee of the Council of Saudi Chambers. He serves as a member of the Saudi Health Council (SHC), Council of Health Insurance (CHI), and Board of Trustees of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). He has held the position of Manager of the Dental Department at Al Yamamah Hospital and was responsible for medical licensing of private dental centers at the Ministry of Health. He is a Founding Member of the Arab Hospital Management Association in Sharjah, UAE, and Board Member of Mulkia Investment Company. As of 25th October 2024, his membership classification changed to Non-Executive Member due to a factor affecting his independence, having served as a Board Member for nine consecutive years.
