Eng. Ahmed A. Al-Subaey serves as Chief Executive Officer of Bahri. He led the company through a transformational year in 2024, achieving record financial performance with net profit of 2.17 billion Saudi Riyals and revenue of 9.48 billion Saudi Riyals. Under his leadership, Bahri expanded and modernized its fleet with the acquisition of 15 modern second-hand vessels, of which 11 became operational before year-end. He has driven disciplined cost management and operational optimization, expanding net profit margin to 23% from 18% in 2023. His strategic vision includes fleet expansion and modernization, operational excellence, digital transformation with investments in AI-driven analytics and automation, and diversification into adjacent markets including seawater desalination. He has strengthened Bahri's financial position by securing 2.84 billion Saudi Riyals in Murabaha financing and a 3 billion Saudi Riyals revolving credit facility.
