Biography

Member of Qatar Islamic Bank's Board of Directors since April 1996. Member of the Compensation, Remuneration, and Benefits Committee. Holds a B.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University (USA) in 1982. After his promotion, progressively occupied several leading posts in Qatar Petroleum until 2002. Board member of Al Jazeera Financing, then CEO until 2008. Headed QIB Audit Committee during the period from 2001 to 2005. Participated in several conferences and scientific seminars in the field of Energy production and Islamic Banking. Currently Chief Executive Officer of Al Sharq Group.
