Biography

Group Head of Investment Banking of First Abu Dhabi Bank with over 30 years of banking and corporate finance experience across institutional businesses. Responsible for leading and growing the Group-wide Investment Banking business, overseeing Global Corporate and FI Coverage, and Global Corporate Finance. Led development of FAB product proposition and client coverage model, reinforcing FAB's positioning as regional leader in Investment Banking space. Instrumental in development of FAB's ESG proposition. Prior to FAB, held several senior leadership positions with HSBC Group in Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, Australia, Korea, UK and Europe. Chairman of the bank's FAB Suisse subsidiary and vice chairman for FAB Capital Saudi Arabia Board. Member of Board of Directors for GCFC (Global Climate Finance Centre). Trustee of Université Paris II Assas, Sorbonne. Appointed Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur de la France by French Prime Minister decree in 2001. Lived in Middle East (UAE and Egypt) for 12 years.
