Biography

Olivier Gerard Thorel is a SABIC Board Member serving as Non-Executive Director. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Chemicals at Saudi Aramco; Board Member of ARLANXEO Holding Co.; Board Member of Aramco Performance Materials LLC; and Board Member of Saudi Aramco Technologies. His previous positions include: Executive Director of Chemicals at Saudi Aramco; Vice President of Chemicals Asia, Ventures and New Business Development at Royal Dutch Shell PLC (Shell); Vice President of Global Intermediates at Shell Singapore; and Vice President of Supply, Distribution, and Shell Pipelines - Shell North America. His previous board memberships include: Pengerang Petrochemical Sdn Bhd.; Pengerang Refining Sdn Bhd.; Fujian Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP); Sadara Chemical Company (Sadara); Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP); Aramco Chemicals Company (ACC); Sinopec SenMei (Fujian) Petroleum Company Limited; and Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures LLC.
