Biography
Saad Ahmed Alnahedh joined the Board of Directors as an independent member in 2024. He is a Professor of Finance at the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University, teaching undergraduate and MBA students. He possesses extensive expertise in regulatory and governance policy development, banking supervision, and has previously consulted for the Central Bank of Kuwait. He is affiliated with the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and has published research on corporate finance, governance, risk management, banking supervision, mergers and acquisitions, and institutional investment in top-tier academic peer-reviewed journals. He has served as Chair of the Risk Management Committee and is currently Chair of the Investment Committee of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, and previously chaired the Risk Management Committee of the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation.
