Biography

Saad Rashid Al-Muhannadi is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of WOQOD. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic execution of the company. Under his leadership, WOQOD achieved significant operational and financial milestones in 2024, including a net profit of QR 1.05 billion and earnings per share of QR 1.06. He has overseen major achievements including a 6% increase in total fuel sales volume reaching a record high of 11.3 billion liters, with jet fuel sales reaching 6.2 billion liters (up 10%) and gasoline sales reaching 3 billion liters (up 4%). He has also led initiatives in health and safety, resulting in WOQOD receiving the RoSPA Gold Award for Health & Safety and RoSPA Silver Award for Fleet Safety, with a 59% improvement in lost time incident frequency. Under his direction, WOQOD has expanded its petrol station network significantly and is pursuing strategic initiatives including electric vehicle charging infrastructure, digital transformation, and exploration of foreign investment opportunities compatible with the company's core business.
