Group Chief Operating Officer. Position held until January 2025. Works to achieve FAB's overall vision by ensuring that business strategy is monitored and translated into annual operational business plans. Leader in championing operational and technology change initiatives regionally and internationally. Responsibilities include capitalising on opportunities for performance enhancement, ensuring cost-effective service development while upholding quality standards, and establishing operational infrastructure for Group's expansion into new markets. Spearheads Group's IT strategy from support and assurance and steering innovation in data analytics, data governance and procurement to improve customer experience and operational excellence. Nearly 25 years of senior expertise in strategy, operations, technology and human resources. Prior to FAB, served as Chief Operating Officer for Emirates Islamic Bank. Previously Chief Executive Officer of Tanfeeth, the shared services subsidiary of Emirates NBD Group, rounding out 22-year career with the Group where he led Human Resources and other operational units.
