Biography

Talal Said Al Moamari has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2017, representing Fajr Al Naseem Co. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Omantel and brings over 20 years of extensive experience to this role. He played an instrumental role in various initiatives and projects, primarily the privatization of Omantel, the major restructuring project which brought together mobile and fixed operations, and the legal merger of Oman Mobile with Omantel. In 2017, he successfully directed Omantel's strategic acquisition of an equity stake in Zain Group. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the College of Banking and Financial Studies in Oman and a member of the Board of Directors of the Omani French Friendship Association.
